Scope of activities

The Gulf of Mexico team is aligned with the Gulf of Mexico Coastal Acidification Network (GCAN). GCAN’s priorities include identifying critical vulnerabilities that may be impacted by ocean acidification, preserving the quality of Gulf beaches, and understanding the development of hypoxia in Gulf waters.
